WhatsApp is probably the fastest-evolving app on the Play Store - which is perhaps necessary when it has more than 700 million users. Merely a week since it got a Material Design overhaul, and barely a month since WhatsApp voice calling landed, the latest WhatsApp update lets you backup and restore your data to Google Drive (which has now been removed). One additional change we hadn't noticed before is that you can now report an unknown number as spam when you block it.
Redesign : We're not so much beyond any doubt when this change happened, however more up to date adaptations of WhatsApp (yet not the variant accessible in the Play Store - you'll require in any event v2.12.30 for this highlight) let you check an obscure number as spam when you square it. In the event that you get a message from a number you don't have in your contacts show, you will see an alternative to report that number as spam when you square it. Here's the screenshots of the highlight in real life. You can even now hinder a number (without reporting it as spam) in the flood menu on the upper right of the discussion.

Version 2.12.45 of the WhatsApp APK introduced a feature whereby you can backup all of your messages, contacts, and settings to Google Drive. You can access the new features by going to Settings > Chat settings > Chat Backup. Here you can choose how regularly you want backups to occur, as well as whether you want backups to happen over a mobile data connection as well as Wi-Fi.
Backups to Google Drive are scheduled for 4 am, however you can physically decide to 'Move down now' whenever. Interestingly however, the highlight has been expelled from ensuing renditions of WhatsApp, including four forms discharged over a 24-hour period on April 21-22. We've reached WhatsApp for illumination on the highlight's evacuation, and will upgrade this article when we know more.

You can download the WhatsApp 2.12.45 APK at APK Mirror along with newer versions (that don't have Google Drive backup enabled). You can also pick up the WhatsApp APK on the official WhatsApp download page. Just make sure you have the exact version number you're after, as WhatsApp only hosts one APK at a time.
