Facebook Lite launches in India and the Philippines (2G-friendly)

Not long ago, Facebook reported a lightweight form of its Android application, one custom-made for 2G systems and in circumstances with conflicting network. The interpersonal interaction titan has now propelled Facebook Lite in India and the Philippines, with more markets set to take after over the advancing weeks and months.

Coming in at only 430KB, Facebook Lite is intended to be information proficient, with the application offering a client experience like that of the undeniable customer on gadgets with low assets and irregular information integration. All gadgets running Android 2.2 and higher are upheld.

The application includes a rearranged client interface comprising of the News Feed, notices, push warnings and messages, with the substance advanced by Facebook's servers to load speedier on 2G systems. Facebook notice that feature will be included at a later date.
